Nagarkurnool: DSWO selected to attend UN International Conclave in Beijing

Nagarkurnool: Talasani Akhilesh Reddy, a district social welfare officer (DSWO) from Nagarkurnool district has been selected to attend the United Nations International Conclave to be held in Beijing in China from December 2 to 6.

Earlier, the DSWO attended a United Nations Conclave to highlight the State government's 30-day action plan programme in villages and rural areas with regard to improving the cleanliness and sanitation.

Akhilesh Reddy had earlier presented a detailed special case study on the programme at a UN Conclave.

Attracted by his presentation, the UN authorities had sent an invitation to the DSWO to attend the international conference that is going to be held in Beijing and report on the final results and impact of the 30-day action plan programme.

"It is a great honour that I have got an opportunity to present the State government's 30-day action plan programme and its impact at the international conference. I am really excited about it," said Akhilesh Reddy.
