Nagarkurnool murder case: Swathi Reddy sent to Mahbubnagar jail

Swathi Reddy who brutally killed her husband with the help of paramour in November 2017 has been sent to 14-day judicial remand to Mahbubnagar jail. She was arrested by the police on Tuesday.

She was granted bail in 2018 and was staying at State Home. However, after she failed to appear for the case hearings. The fourth class fast track court magistrate Ravi Kumar has issued a non-bailable warrant against Swathi Reddy.

Swati Reddy killed her husband after she developed an affair with one Rajesh. The duo killed Sudhakar Reddy and later Rajesh disfigured his face to get the face of Sudhakar through plastic surgery. However, the police unfolded their plan and arrested the two.
