"The only major work left for us to complete is the children's and general landscaping and cleaning around the site.

We are pretty much done with other works.

We were instructed to complete the construction before Ugadi," said in-charge Raghuveeran.

The village themed project which is located on the Warangal highway adjacent to the Musi River near the Nagole Metro station will have around 40 shopping stalls with many other facilities.

Why at Nagole?

There was a long-felt need for a cultural space in the eastern part of the city and the authorities zeroed down on Nagole to set up a replica of Shilparamam.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Wednesday, Mahender Reddy, a social worker, said, "People living in Uppal and beyond are deprived of a space to unwind and the proposed Shilparamam is a blessing."

It may be noted that the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) allotted 7.5 acres to establish a mini Shiparamam.

It will comprise an open auditorium will have 40 craft stalls, five food courts, amphitheatre, convention centre, art gallery, children's play area and other facilities.
