Nalgonda: Armed Reserve constables provide financial aid to 3 kids

Nalgonda: In a noble gesture, Armed Reserve Constables-2013 batch provided financial aid to three children whose father died in a road accident and mother was mentally ill.

According to sources, Neelam Satyanaryana of Mullkalapally village of Gurrampodu mandal in the district died in a road accident recently. His three children became helpless after their father's death since their mother was suffering with mental illness.

The villagers showing sympathy provided a piece of land to the children in the village limits and constructed a house for them. After coming to know their plight through newspapers, the AR constables-2013 batch came forward and arranged Rs 17,400 through contributions of the batch members. They reached out to village sarpanch M Deepa and expressed that they would like to help the children.

They handed over the collected amount to the children in the presence of Sarpanch Deepa through district SP AV Ranganath at his chamber in Nalgonda on Friday.

SP Gunman Sriram took the initiation and his batch mates extended help in providing aid to the children.

Miryalguda DSP Venkateshwar Rao, AR-2013 constables Sriram, Varaprasad, Srinu,Vinod, staff Karthik, Afroz, Riyaz, PRO Kotagiri Ramakrishna and others participated.
