Nalgonda: Collector reviews ongoing works in town

Devarakonda (Nalgonda): District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Thursday toured Devarakonda town and conducted review meeting on functioning of town municipality.

He gave instructions to commissioner, police and other officers concerned with regard to issues of status on SC/ST/BC voters, ongoing works, drinking water and sanitation works, development of parks, Amruth scheme and other issues.

He inspected the water tank structures and instructed the respective officials to supply quality water to residents. Later, he inspected CHC Hospital in Deverkonda and reviewed the functioning of the hospital.

He also interacted with the students and parents of Kasturi Gandhi Balika Vidyalya of Chandampet mandal who had suffered food poisioning and also inspected hospital premises and took feedback from the patients in the wards.

The Collector inspected and reviewed the tourism foundation works in Deverkonda Fort.
