Nalgonda man kills father in fight over changing TV channel

A man bludgeoned his 60-year-old father to death after a fight which broke out over changing the TV channel. The police said that Malla Govardhan (60) was watching when his son returned home in a drunk state and asked to change the TV channel.

When Govardhan refused, his son Satish picked up an argument and in a fit of rage, he hit his father on the head with a wooden pestle. Govardhan suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot. The father and son are residing at Prakash Bazar in Nalgonda.

Locals informed the police who registered a case and are looking out for the accused who had gone absconding.
