Nalgonda: MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy launches sanitation drive at Cherla Gouraram

Kanagal (Nalgonda): Villages will with public involvement only, District Collector Prashant Jeevan Patil stated. Along with MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, the Collector on Monday launched week-long special sanitation drive at Cherla Gouraram village of Kanagal mandal in the district. Later both the MLA and the Collector inspected crematorium, nursery, water tanks, drainages etc in the village.

The Collector assured that various government schemes will be implemented 100 per cent. He told the people not to throw garbage on the roads and urged them to maintain their surroundings clean. Speaking about coronavirus, he said self-control is the best weapon to control the epidemic. He advised the people to wear masks and maintain social distancing. The Collector asked the people to plant saplings in huge numbers, especially to plant neem and Ravi saplings.

MLA Bhupal Reddy advised the people to make their village as a role model by keeping it clean. He listed out the State government's schemes for the welfare of people and development activities for the progress of rural area and also listed out the milestones achieved by the TRS government during the last six years. He assured to sanction Rs 15 lakh for the construction of a compound wall for crematorium, CC roads and drainages in the village. Additional Collector Rahul Sharma, DPO Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, MPP Karim Pasha, Tahsildar Srinivas Rao, MPDO Shyam Sunder Reddy, TRS mandal president Yadaiah and others were participated.
