Nalgonda: No cotton purchasing on December 13and 14
Kattangur (Nalgonda): District Incharge Collector V Chandrashekar made the sudden inspection of Payal Cotton Ginning Mill located at Yerasanigudem of Kattangur mandal in the district on Thursday
As a part of an inspection, he took a round of the mill and checked cotton, seeds and bales reserves. He suggested the farmers to bring the cotton with moisture content 8 to 10 percent as recommended by CCI to get a minimum supporting price to their cotton produce. Stating that there is a possibility of mismanagement, he advised farmers not to give their Aadhar, bank passbook and patted passbooks to anyone during the cotton selling season.
Meanwhile, Marketing AD Abdul Aleem in a press statement stated that there will not be any cotton procurement at the ginning mills in entire Nalgonda district on December 13 and 14 as the cotton reserves are piled up in the ginning mills.
