Nalgonda: TRS celebrates KCR's Deeksha Diwas

Nalgonda: Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders and workers celebrated Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's Deeksha Diwas on a grand note in erstwhile Nalgonda district on Friday. The party cadre distributed fruits and bread to patients in hospitals besides conducting mass feeding (Annadanam) and also Palabhishekam to portrait of the Chief Minister to mark the day.

After distributing fruits to patients in government hospital in Nalgonda, party town president Abbagoni Ramesh stated that putting his life in danger, KCR took indefinite hunger strike to realise the dream of separate Telangana State on the same day 10 years ago and mounted pressure on then Central government, that eventually led to the formation of Telangana State on June 2, 2014.

Stating that with the blessings of people the TRS government came to power for the second time, he informed that all sections of people were getting benefitted from the welfare schemes being implemented by the State government.

He listed out the welfare schemes and achievements of the State government in the past six years and urged the people to support the TRS in forthcoming municipal election for overall development of the State

Party leaders Abhimanyu Srinivas, Dubba Ashok, Ravula Srinivas Reddy and others participated.
