Narayanpet police crack murder case, take two into custody
Narayanpet: The Narayanpet police achieved a huge success by arresting two persons involved in a recent murder case that occurred on July 10 in Narsapur village of Damargidda mandal. In less than 10 days, the police cracked the case and arrested the culprits. They produced the arrested before the media on Friday.
It can be recalled that Narayana, brother of Narsapur village Sarpanch, was found murdered by unidentified persons and his body thrown in a secluded place in the forest. The Narayanpet police led by SP Chetana took up the case and cracked it in 10 days and arrested the culprits. "Based on the clues, our special teams launched the investigation and zeroed in on two persons from Gandeed mandal. We have arrested them and sent them for remand," said the SP while producing the culprits before the media on Friday.
The police said Narayana was into rice business and used to carry a lot of cash with him while travelling. Noticing this, two persons, Chinchati Veeresh and Neerathi Mahesh, both drivers planned to kill Narayana and take his money. As per their plan, they rammed their car into Narayana's bike near Narsapur village where the victim died on the spot. Later, they dragged the body into bushes and took 7.68 lakh rupees and fled off. The SP congratulated the police team that cracked the case.
