Narrow escape for passengers after bus rams into shop in Narketpally

As many as 30 passengers had a narrow escape after the bus in which they were travelling in rammed into a shop here in the wee hours on Sunday at Narketpally. The bus was heading to Hyderabad from Ongole.

The bus driver of Kaveri travels is said to have been dozed off and lost control over the vehicle which ensued to the mishap. The incident occurred around 4 am. As there was no one inside the shop, no casualties have been reported. There are around 30 passengers in inside the bus when the incident happened and all escaped unhurt.

The Narketpally police registered a case and launched an investigation. They suspected that the overspeeding of the vehicle coupled with driver dozing off might have led to the mishap. Meanwhile, all the passengers breathed a sigh of relief after having a narrow escape.

On the other hand, three shops were completely damaged after the bus crashed into them.
