Narsampet hospital to get facelift
Narsampet (Warangal Rural): The long-awaited dream of the locals, the upgradation of Area Hospital, is likely to come true soon. The State government has decided to upgrade the Area Hospital to 250 bed hospital with an outlay of Rs 60 crore.
MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy who thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said that the Area Hospital would be converted into a district hospital.
He said that the proposed hospital would come up in 5 acres and it would be of immense help to the people of Narsampet and its surrounding mandals in the Warangal Rural district.
"The people, predominantly tribal, have been waiting for the hospital with all modern facilities," he said. He claimed credit for dialysis centre which is already functional in the town. In addition, to this, a blood bank was already made functional, he added.
The MLA said that the upgradation of Area Hospital in Narsampet would reduce the burden of the MGM Hospital in Warangal.
Meanwhile, TRS leaders Naini Narsiah, Namala Satyanarayana, Lekkala Vidyasagar Reddy and others performed Palabhishekam to the portrait of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy.
