Need to sensitise people on vasectomy

Vikarabad: The medical and health department organised 'Vasectomy Fortnight' at Mahavir Institute of Medical Sciences in Vikarabad on Thursday. District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam and MLA Methuku Anand were chief guests.

The Collector said ASHA workers from 154 sub-centers should sensitise the people on vasectomy. The MLA cleared myths on vasectomy being performed to men. He said it was safer to perform on men than on women. Dr Prabhakar Reddy, Dr Hari Krishna Babu and others were present.
