Nepali national jumps off hotel in Hyderabad, dies

A 30-year-old man hailing from Nepal jumped to death from the second floor of a famous hotel here at Abids on Friday morning.

It is learned that Mothi, who was working as a waiter at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Abids has committed suicide due to family and financial constraints. He joined in the hotel two months ago. The incident has occurred around 1 am on Friday.

The victim is said to be in an intoxicated state when he had taken the extreme step. He was dead on the spot due to serious head injuries.

The police who were alerted by the hotel staff reached the spot and registered a case. His body was sent to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
