Netas to face angry residents in Neredmet
Neredmet: Residents of Vajpayeenagar have resolved to question leaders approaching them for votes in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections about the solutions they would offer to problems like inadequate drainage, shortage of drinking water, bad roads, mosquito/dog menace.
Speaking to The Hans India, local people hit out at politicians for limiting their promises to only assurances and forgetting them after the polls and getting elected.
They complained that representations on their problems submitted to the local corporator and officials had not evoked due response, as they were adopting a negligent attitude.
The residents alleged that no leader from the past 25 years had solved their issues, although they had approached seeking votes.
They firmly declared that none should seek votes in Vajpayeenagar.
Among the residents who spoke to THI included Naresh, Manoj, Lakshmi, Bhagyalakshmi, Swaroopa, Yelibai.
