New Zealand gesture to victims' kin hailed
Hyderabad: United Muslim Forum (UMF) in its meeting held on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack on two of the mosques in the City of Christchurch in New Zealand.
The meeting presided by the Forum president Mohammed Raheemuddin Ansari.
He hailed the New Zealand government for dealing the situation in a swiftly manner.
The Forum appreciated the gesture of New Zealand Parliament to give comfort to the affected Muslim community.
The meeting discussed the present electoral situation of the country and took a view that a secular and accountable government was the need of the hour.
The Forum decided to support AIMIM from Hyderabad Parliament seat and declared to support TRS from the remaining 16 Parliament constituencies from Telangana State.
The meeting was attended by Syed Maulana Akbar Nizamuddin Husaini Sabri, Maulana Syed Qubool Badshah Shuttari, Maulana Meer Qutbuddin Ali Chisht, Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, Ziyauddin Nayyar, Syed Muneeruddin Ahmed Mukhta, Maulana Syed Masood Husain Mujtahdi, Maulana Taqi Raza Abedi, Maulana Safi Ahmed Madni, Umar Ahmed Shafeeq and others.
