Nine-year-old girl raped in Ramanthapur

Hyderabad: Another shocking rape incident occurred in Ramanthapur on Thursday when a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man.

According to Uppal police, when the locals found the girl bleeding they rushed to her rescue and informed her parents and police.

Police immediately shifted her to Gandhi Hospital for emergency treatment. Based on the enquiry they identified Laxman (22), as the culprit.

The accused, who works as a mason in a newly constructed house, targeted the girl, daughter of the watchman of a building. By luring the girl he took her to a room and allegedly raped her and fled from the spot. Police registered a case and took Laxman into custody.

This is a second such brutal incident in Telangana, after the rape case incident of 9-month-old child in Warangal.
