Nirmal: SP stresses on use of technology in investigations

Nirmal: Superintendent of Police C Shashidhar Raju on Monday told police officials to utilise technology in investigations as it would help solve cases easily and added that in every police station 5S system should be followed. He wanted the police officers to maintain records and clean surroundings. He was addressing the police officials at the monthly crime review meeting in Nirmal.

He said every police officer must have awareness on CCTNS. The SP instructed officials to conduct meetings with constables to clear their doubts and give instructions to clear pending cases on every Saturday, and also speed up the investigations of theft cases and recover the property. He told them to improve the source of information on gutka and ganja sales and transportation to take necessary actions to control their illegal transportation.

He also instructed the She team to be active as schools and colleges have opened. He wanted to review the cause of accidents of last month to take necessary actions to prevent road accidents. The SP told cops to conduct drive against drunken driving frequently. He also directed them to take immediate actions on petitions to give confidence to the people on police system. Rewards will be given to the policemen who show good performance. He also distributed rewards to the constables and SI, CI at the meeting.

Additional Superintendent of Police Dakshinamurthy, DSPs Uppender Reddy, Rajesh Balla, Special Branch Inspector Venkatesh, Inspectors Jhon Diwakar, Srinivas Reddy, Jairam Naik, Srinivas, Praveen Kumar, Ramesh Babu, Srinivas SI were also present.
