Nirmala Sitharaman convenes pre-budget meet

Hyderabad: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman convened a pre-budget meeting with Finance ministers of all states and Union Territories on the same day of the GST council meeting on December 18.

In the meeting, the Union Minister will seek ideas and suggestions from the ministers for Union Budget 2020-21 to be presented in March 2020. Telangana State Finance Minister T Harish had received invitation from the Centre to attend the meeting.
