Nizamabad District Consumer Forum building inaugurated

Nizamabad: Justice MSK Jaiswal, President of State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, said that everyone should be aware of consumer rights. He inaugurated the District Consumer Forum building at ZP Campus (Pamula Basti) here on Friday evening.

Justice Jaiswal said that every citizen should strive to protect their rights. Any individual can file a case without the need of an advocate in a civil court, he informed. Both the Central and State governments are working hard to protect consumer rights. If there are deficiencies in the service, justice will be sought by this court, he said. The Judge urged the people of the district to take advantage of the services of the District Consumer Forum.

District Collector M Rammohan Rao said the restoration work was undertaken at a cost of Rs 18 lakh and the district administration is working to educate consumers about the rights of the people and get justice done.
