Nizamabad doctor bags Vijay Ratan gold medal

Hyderabad/New Delhi: Dr Kiran Madhala, head of the Department of Anesthesiology, critical care and pain medicine, Nizamabad has been given the Vijay Ratan gold medal for outstanding service in medical field here on Thursday.

The awards were given to 60 Indians from all over the world in different fields by International Business Council.

Dr Kiran Madhala comes from a poor agricultural family and voluntarily opted Nirmal/Nizamabad and joined as CAS in 2011.

He was adjudged as best doctor from Nizamabad by the District Collector in 2017. He is instrumental in developing Dept of Anesthesiology for seven years.

He has played a role in uniting faculty of all India government colleges through social platform in 2017 and prepared an all India comprehensive document comparing pay scales and working conditions of all India medical faculty across the country.

He represented Telangana government doctors problems at AIFGDA platform at Indore in 2017. Dr Kiran Madhala is presently a active member of various organisations like Indian Medical Association, Telangana Government Doctors Association etc.
