Nizamabad: Outsourcing employees demand equal pay for equal work

Nizamabad: IFTU leaders LB Ravi demanded equal pay for equal work and the regularization of services of contract outsourcing employees.

Outsourcing employees and workers at Telangana University on Monday launched a strike. Ravi alleged that the government and semi-government agencies were exploiting the employees.

He demanded the implementation of the GO No 14. Ravi demanded the authorities to give regular posts to teaching and non teaching staff. The outsourcing employees of the South Campus Bhiknur and Sarangpur BEd Colleges boycotted duties. Hostels and mess were closed. A protest meeting was held.

Over 250 employees including Suresh, Bikoji, Sudhir, Maunika, Madhulika, Jyothi, Suresh Reddy join the protest
