Nizamabad rural MLA Bajireddy Govardhan tests positive for coronavirus
A day after Jangaon MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy tested positive for coronavirus, another MLA Bajireddy Govardhan from Nizamabad rural infected with the coronavirus. Soon after testing positive, the MLA left for Hyderabad and got admitted to a private hospital. His condition is said to be stable.
It is learned that Bajireddy have undergone COVID-19 tests soon after he learned about the Muthireddy being tested for the virus. The two MLAs are said to have spent time together in a private meeting two days ago.
Bajireddy showed the symptoms of coronavirus on Saturday and alerted the district collector C Narayan Reddy. The doctors were informed who collected samples from the MLA and sent them for testing. After the MLA tested positive, his family members were placed under quarantine.
