Nizamabad: RTC Strike will continue till demands are met
Nizamabad: The RTC JAC has categorically stated that they will not join duty until all the demands of the RTC workers are solved. The RTC workers continued their agitation at Nizamabad Dharna Chowk on Monday. They organised relay hunger strike here on 31st day of their strike.
Leaders of various political parties and public groups have staged a protest in support of the RTC workers. The RTC employees tried to stage dharna in front of the bus depots, but the police refused to grant permission. Hence, they staged a protest at Dharna Chowk.
Meanwhile, the police assured that full protection will be provided to the drivers and conductors, if they want to join duty. But the RTC workers clarified that they will not join duty until their problems are solved.
In Kamareddy district headquarters, the RTC employees staged a protest in front of the RTC bus stand demanding the merger of RTC with the government. They protested by tying black cloth to their face.
