Nizamabad: Waive off power bills, BJP leaders demands

Nizamabad: BJP district leaders and activists staged a dharna, demanding waiver of power bills in the undivided Nizamabad district, in front of electricity sub-station office in Nizamabad on Monday.

Party State vice-president Mallareddy alleged of several irregularities and errors in the recently issued power bills. Stating that people are facing financial difficulties due to unemployment for the past three months due to lockdown, he demanded that the government should cancel three-month electricity bills.

BJP district president Banala Lakshma Reddy, State executive member Kattipalli Venkata Ramana Reddy, Jukkal ex-MLA Aruna Tara and others participated in the dharna.
