No deviation in National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme works: Collector M Prashanti

Nirmal: National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) works should be taken up strictly, stated District Collector M Prashanti here on Friday. She paid a surprise visit to Kondpur and Nilaipet villages in Nirmal mandal and inspected fisheries, vegetable cultivation, Haritha Haram and graveyard works and green zone arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, the collector directed the officials concerned to take up employment guarantee scheme works strictly. Later, she inspected NREGS records gram panchayat office. District Rural Development Officer Venkateswarlu, MPDO Sainath, APD K Prasad and other officials were present.
