CPI leader Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao who began indefinite hunger strike on October 26 was admitted to NIMS on Sunday after his health condition deteriorated.
However, Kunamneni refused to take the treatment and said that he will not call off the strike until the government accepts the RTC demands.
He further said that it is not fair for the chief minister who is trying to put an end to the strike. Kunamneni asked the chief minister to remember that the latter too emerged from the strikes.
"I was the one who consoled him when KCR arrested when protesting in Khammam during statehood agitation," he added.
