No post mortem report received in Kodela Siva Prasad suicide case: Hyderabad police
The Banjara Hills police on Saturday said that they have not received the post-mortem report of former assembly speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao who committed suicide at his residence in Banjara Hills on September 16, 2019.
The police recovered Kodela's mobile phone and several other things after the latter's family approached the police. The recovered things were sent to the forensic lab. Even after the three months of his death, the police have not yet received the report. The post-mortem report of Kodela Siva Prasad Rao is believed to reach police in 10 days.
Siva Prasad Rao had served as five-time MLA from Narasaraopet assembly constituency and one-time from Sattenapalli assembly constituency. He also served as Home Minister during the NT Rama Rao regime.
He is survived by his wife, son Siva Rama Krishna and daughter Vijaya Lakshmi.
