According to official reports, the dengue virus effect is prominent in GHMC limits including Hyderabad and Medchal districts where positive cases are being reported very regularly from last few weeks.

While the entire GHMC machinery is on the field right from Mayor and Commissioner to other officials in circles taking up sanitation and awareness initiatives, Health Minister Eatala Rajender is on a tour of various districts that are most impacted by dengue.

On Tuesday, he toured Suryapet, Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudam districts and held a review with district officials to control spread of fever.
