TS SSC 2020: The Telangana Government has decided not to conduct SSC exams in the state and promote the students through the grading system. This decision was taken by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at a high-level meeting. All students will be passed through the grading system.

The students will be promoted based on the pre-final, internal and assessment marks. This brings great relief to the students, parents and the teachers who have been asking the government to cancel the exams. There are around 5,34,903 SSC students in the state. Following the government's order, the education department officials directed the schools to prepare the marks list of the students and upload on the official website of Telangana State Board of Secondary Education (TSBSE).

The TSBSE already held exams for three subjects and were deferred after the government announced lockdown in the state.

On Saturday, the government decided to postpone all the exams after the High Court directed to hold SSC exams in the state except in GHMC limits. However, to avoid confusion among the students, the government postponed all the exams.

Degree and post-graduate exams:

While announcing the scrapping of SSC exams, the chief minister said that he will soon decide on the conduct of degree and Post Graduate exams.
