Normalcy returns in Telangana after rains subside

Normalcy returned in several areas across Telangana after the rains which lashed that state for about a week has slowed down.
However, the state is expected to get heavy rainfall over the next four days due to the low-pressure area likely to form over the northeast Bay of Bengal within 48 hours, said the weather department.
Utnoor in Adilabad district received highest of 14 cm rainfall in the last 24 hours followed by Jainoor and Wankdi which received 11 cm each. Telangana recorded average cumulative rainfall of 39.4 cm against average normal rainfall of 40 cm as on Sunday.
