Not Possible To Conduct Covid-19 Tests To All Dead Bodies: Telangana CM KCR Asserts
There is a rumour that Telangana Government is not rapidly conducting Covid-19 tests. This is making the state to list a few cases than the original numbers. But the Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR has ruled out these rumours and also doled out the factual numbers of the Corona positive cases that are listed in the state.
He said that Gandhi Hospital holds a capacity to treat 2000 Corona patients at a time and there are 1000 beds specially allocated for all those who need the oxygen masks.
Along with this information, KCR said that, there are only 247 patients in Gandhi Hospital who are getting treated for Covid-19 pandemic. He also requested the media to stop spreading rumours about Gandhi Hospital.
Finally, he also made it clear that Corona tests cannot be conducted for all the dead bodies. On average, a total of 900 people go to death beds and conducting tests for that large number is will become an excess work for the hospitals. He also mentioned that, there are no such guidelines to conduct tests for dead bodies in either WHO nor in Central Government released notes.
On the whole, KCR also mentioned that, the Government is thinking to go to the Supreme Court on the present order of High Court.KCR
