NSRF exhorts people to project united front
Hyderabad: National Security Research Foundation (NSRF) on Sunday conducted a round-table conference on "National Security-A Positive Approach" at the Institutes of Engineers India in Khairatabad.
Major General R Shiva Kumar, Honorary Advisor, Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Sandeep Mehta, Retired Group Captain, Western Air Command, Mayank Singh, Defence Analyst and others participated in the conference. The speakers expressed their opinion that the country should stand together on national security. There was no need for proving proof to Balakot air strikes. Such demands would help Pakistan only, experts felt.
The speaker stressed the need for projected a united front against the propaganda being made by Pakistan. The people should not fall prey to the propaganda by the ISI and its sponsored terrorist organisations. The enemy is trying to play mind game through social media by uploading morphed photographs and propaganda material on social media to mislead the people, they cautioned.
The speakers emphasised need for the media to adopt restraint in reporting to protect the interests of the nation. They cautioned the media against reporting news concerning the national security without checking the facts "There is no need for the people to know everything regarding measures being taken to protect the country," the speakers added.
