NTPC launches Vigilance Awareness Week

Hyderabad: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) on Monday launched Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme Integrity-A Way of Life.

As part of it, the corporation opened Integrity Clubs in three government high schools, three government junior colleges as well as at Arts College, Osmania University and School of Management Studies at JNTU in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the programme, NTPC Regional Executive Director (South) D K Dubey said that formation of Integrity Clubs will not only promote integrity and eradicate corruption with public participation, but also instil values like honesty, integrity, responsibility, patriotism, unity, non-violence, respect, compassion, tolerance etc. among the students.

M Gopalakrishnan, Retired IAS, delivered a lecture on "Live and Work with Integrity" at a seminar organised at NTPC office. Swamy Buddhinanandaji, a monk from Ramakrishna Mission also spoke on "Integrity-A Way of Life."
