Nursing student found dead on rail tracks in Mahbubnagar

Mahbubnagar: A nursing student of Vijaya Nursing in Jadcherla mandal was found dead on the railway track at Signal Gadda area on Wednesday morning.

According to eye witness, Madhavi of Anna Sagar village in Jadcherla mandal was found lying on the railway track with severe head injuries. Upon approaching the body, they found the she was dead and informed the police. The police shifted the body to Government Hospital for post mortem.

After learning about the death of their daughter, Madhavi's parents along with their relatives held a dharna at Vijaya Nursing Home hostel and vandalised furniture and other items and demanded justice.

The police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. They promised the parents of the deceased that their daughter will get justice. Jadcherla Circle Inspector Balaraj said that they started investigation and collecting clues and enquiring all those, who were attached to the girl. We will nab the culprits soon, he added.
