Officials exhorted to focus on public issues
Sangareddy: District Collector Hanumantha Rao has directed the official machinery to dedicate themselves for the public services, as they were busy with the election duties. "We couldn't focus on public issues due to the hectic election duties. Now it is over, let's get into the public again,'' he said. He emphasised the need of taking up 'clean & green' programme across the district. He directed the officials to adopt 31 wards in the district headquarters.
The collector told the officials to treat the public who visit the offices with dignity. Don't make them to do rounds, he said. He appealed to the people to approach him if any employee demands bribe. He warned of stringent action against erring employees. Trainee collector Jitesh V Patil, DRO Radhika Ramani and others were present on the occasion.
