Officials told to speed up LRUP

Warangal: Officials need to lay special focus on villages where issues pertaining to revenue department, Warangal Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil said.

Chairing a review meeting of the land record upgradation and purification (LRUP) here on Friday, he emphasised the need for focusing on LRUP, targeted at improving documentation of rural land records, in villages where issues related to land title are pending for clearance.

Referring to the discrepancies rolled in the pattadar passbooks, the Collector directed the officials to take measures to reissue the new passbooks.

He told the officials to advice the farmers to resolve their personal issues in regard with their land within their families. "The onus is on officials to survey and demarcate land boundaries," he said.

The Collector also discussed at length about the regularisation of sada bainama, eKYC, mutation and pending applications with the Mee Seva. The Collector told the tahsildars to countercheck whether the transactions were carried legally or not.

Ensure uploading of records without any delay, Patil said, instructing officials to contact the e-District Manager if they face any technical problems.
