Officials told to submit report on crop damage: Nirmal Joint Collector A Bhaskar Rao
Nirmal: Joint Collector A Bhaskar Rao instructed the officials to clear all the pending grievances after attending Prajavani (grievance cell) programme at the Collector's conference hall in Nirmal on Monday.
The Joint Collector received grievances from people from across the district and listened to their problems carefully. He received about 29 petitions on the occasion, most of them related to revenue, pension, fisheries, cooperative unions, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak etc.
Ravinder Goud of Dimmadurthi village of Mamada mandal requested the JC to sanction Kalyana Lakshmi cheque to him. Srinivas of Ponkal village requested to make corrections in his pattadar passbook; and Sayanna of Kandli village of Lokeshwaram mandal wanted the Joint Collector to register his name in Pahani and transfer Virasat to him. Gangu Bai of Parasi village of Kubeer mandal requested the JC to sanction pension to her. Laxmi of Khanapur mandal appealed for single women pension.
Later at a meeting with the officials, Joint Collector Bhaskar Rao directed the officials concerned to solve their problems immediately. They were also told to submit a detailed report on crop damages due to the recent rains and agriculture department, VROs to verify the details jointly.
District Revenue officer Someshwar, district rural development officer Venkateshwarlu, Bhainsa RDO Raju, district educational officer Pranitha, district agriculture officer Koteshwar Rao, district panchayat officer Srinivas, district backward classes development officer Vijay Kumar, animal and husbandry officer Dr Ramesh Kumar, district horticulture officer Sharath Kumar, collectorate AO Kareem and others were present.
