One brutally murdered on the road in Hyderabad, police traced case within hours
Panjagutta: In an incident, a man was brutally murdered in broad daylight near Panjagutta police station on Sunday. The relatives of an auto driver who was murdered four months ago have killed the accused with the fear that he will also kill them.
Hyderabad city police commissioner Anjani Kumar said that the West Zone Taskforce police have traced the case within hours and arrested three accused and the search continues for another two accused.
Speaking to media at the press conference, CP disclosed the case details. Mohammad Anwar (32) of Badi Masjid near Panjagutta and Mir Riyasat Ali (39) a resident of Nagarjuna Hills were a good friend. Both were the auto drivers and regularly parked their vehicles in the auto stand near Panjagutta traffic police station.
However, Ali developed suspicion on Anwar that he has done black magic on his family, and that's why his wife and children were often falling sick. In this context, Ali had clashes with Anwar many times and decided to kill him.
On June 26, Riyasat Ali stabbed Anwar with a knife at the auto stand. Anwar, who was seriously injured, went to the nearby police station and collapsed at the reception area. Later, Ali also surrendered to the police. The police rushed Anwar to the hospital, where he died on the way.
Riyasat Ali, who was arrested in the case, was out on bail on October 10th and staying at his home. However, Anwar's family members felt the threat from Ali and decided to kill him.
Abdul Rehman, Mohammed Azhar, Abdul Aleem, Syed Amjad, and Mohammed Hasan has attacked Ali at a tea stall in Nagarjuna Hills. Over knowing about the incident, victims' brother Abbas reached the spot and rushed Ali to Gandhi hospital, where doctors declared brought dead.
During the post-mortem, the forensic expert had found ten bruises on the head, stabbing injuries on his leg and other body parts. On receiving the information, the police started the investigation and examined 24 CCTV footage near the crime scene.
Based on the evidence collected from four CCTV cameras, the police have identified the accused and formed a team led by West Zone Task Force Inspector B Gattumallu.
Within hours, Rehman, Azhar, and Aleem were arrested at Chandrayangutta, recovered knives, bike and a van which were used in the offense. The police lookout is continuing to trace another two accused Amjad and Hasan.
