One killed and 3 injured in a road accident

HYDERABAD: One Killed and 3 people were injured after the car hits a lorry on the Outer Ring Road Under Ghatkesar police limits on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old businessman was traveling with family from Srikalahasthi to Toopran village and the tragic mishap had taken place. The victim's wife, daughter and the driver sustained injuries in the mishap.

The deceased, Devatha Ramesh, a resident of Toopran village of Medak district, was traveling with his wife Swathi and daughter Siri towards their village from Srikalahasti town in Chittoor.

His driver, Jodu Swamy, was driving the Maruti Suzuki car, while the deceased was sitting on the front seat. The family started the journey on Monday evening.

According to the Police, the accident occurred at around 6 am when they reached near the Ghatkesar Toli Gate on Tuesday.

"A lorry traveling in front of them applied sudden brakes to turn right. Driver Swamy lost the vehicle control and the car rammed into the lorry from behind."

As said by Ghatkesar inspector Raghuveer Reddy. The car shows that it was highly impacted as the driver lost control.

Due to the high and direct Impact, the person sitting in the front seat Ramesh died on the spot following multiple injuries. Driver fractured his leg while Swati and Siri who were at the rear seat sustained mild injuries.

The girls Swati and Siri were shifted immediately to Vijaya Health Care Hospital, Secunderabad and Jodu Swamy were getting treated at Rahavendra Srikara Hospitals in ECIL.
