One killed in explosion at scrapyard in Suryapet

A person was killed and another injured in an explosion at a scrapyard near Ayappa temple in Suryapet on Friday. Sahu, who was working at the scrapyard has succumbed to serious injuries.

The injured identified as Salman was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The property is loss yet to be ascertained. 

The police rushed to the spot and took up an investigation. The explosion took place as a result of heat produced while crushing the plastic, said Superintendent of Police R Venkateshwarlu.
