Only Cong can address public issues, says Revanth Reddy

Malkajgiri: Congress candidate for Malkajgiri Parliament constituency Revanth Reddy said that public issues would be effectively addressed only if Congress party was voted to power.

He met the local BJP leader Sri Ganesh and sought his support in the forthcoming elections.

Revanth Reddy also invited him back to Congress party and assured him of a suitable position in the party.

Revanth said that the main contest would be between Congress and BJP in Parliament elections.

TRS party has done nothing to state although it won many seats in the last elections and there was no use giving it 16 seats, he ridiculed.

The issues of the cantonment would be resolved only if Congress wins the Malkajgiri constituency, he said.

Opportunity should be given to those leaders who strive to address public issues rather than to real estate businessmen who would never work for the development of the constituency, he said.

He promised to open AOC gates in the cantonement and lay new roads.

He claimed that even TRS party workers are extending their support to him in the ensuing elections.

Meanwhile, Sri Ganesh clarified that he has not taken any decision so far to join Congress party but would discuss with his followers.
