Oppose new national education policy: PDSU

Nizamabad: A new national educational policy is being created with religious colours, which should be opposed by all students, stated PDSU Nizamabad district vice-president Jannarapu Rajeshwar.

He spoke at a students' conference at Telangana University here on Friday, who is his way from Nizamabad to PDSU State conference at Osmania University. Rajeshwar urged the students to oppose the national education policy. Criticising the private universities for bringing down the government universities, he lamented that students from poor financial background are unable to pursue higher education. Quoting Comrade George Reddy's statement that any issue of universities could be solved with movement only, Rajeshwar asked all the students to unite. He demanded the government appointment of regular Vice-Chancellors in the universities and to fill up vacant professors' posts.

PDSU district secretary Karthik, Sai Krishna, Santosh, Pawan and students attended the meeting.
