Opposition leaders hand over Rs 1 lakh cheque to family of deceased Telangana inter student

Opposition leaders Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, Chada Venkat Reddy and Kondandaram handed over Rs 1 lakh cheque to the family of intermediate student Anamika, who committed suicide after failing in an exam.

The leaders further demanded compensation to all the families of deceased inter students who committed suicide following the alleged goof-up of inter results. They also said that they will hand over the cheques to families of three other deceased students next week.

"The government neither provided compensation to the families nor allowing them to help," said the leaders.
