Opposition parties demand release of Revanth Reddy, condemn's his arrest

Opposition parties in the state have condemned the arrest of Congress leader and MP Revanth Reddy and demanded his release.

Reddy was arrested by the Cyberabad police last week on the charges of flying drones on the minister KTR's farmhouse to capture images. Revanth was produced before a court and was remanded 14 days judicial custody at Cherlapally jail.

TJS chief Kodandaram said that flying a drone is a bailable offence. But, the authorities intentionally added non-bailable sections to send him to jail.

Congress leaders including MLA Seethakka, Shabbir Ali, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy also condemned the arrest of Revanth Reddy during a press conference.
