OU declares TS PGCET-2019 results

Hyderabad: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) Chairman Prof T Papi Reddy said 88.27 per cent candidates were qualified in the TSPGECET-2019, which was conducted by the Osmania University.

Addressing a joint media conference here on Thursday with Osmania University Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of TSPGECET-2019, Prof S Ramachandram said that out of 20,415 candidates registered for the examination 17,722 appeared for the test.

Out of this, 15,644 candidates qualified, in which, 7,965 are girls and 7,679 are boys.

Of the total percentage of 88.27 per cent of the qualified candidates, the percentage of girls was 44.94 and that of the boys was 43.33, he added.

Prof Ramachandram said the Computer Based Test (CBT) was conducted in 19 subjects including two new subjects viz, Mining Engineering and Textile Technology.

The results along with the marks obtained will be made available on the website www.pgecet.tsche. act.in and candidates can download their rank cards from the website.
