Outsourcing staff, attender tests corona positive at Telangana Secretariat
An outsourcing employee working in the Finance department and an attender at the state Secretariat building BRKR Bhavan have been tested positive for coronavirus leaving the entire staff of the head office of state administration in scare.
The entire staff of finance wing working in seventh and eighth floors in the Secretariat have been asked to leave the office and work from home for a week. Alerted officials have taken up the sanitisation of the entire building. Meanwhile, the infected patients were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In the GHMC office, one worker was also afflicted with the deadly coronavirus in the fourth of the municipal office. Sanitisation of the two buildings was taken up and staff have been asked to strictly follow the safety norms.
Earlier, a person who attended for Markaz had been tested positive for coronavirus. On Sunday, the state reported 154 coronavirus positive cases taking the total tally to 3,650 and with the 14 deaths, the fatalities touched 137. So far, 1742 persons have got discharged.
