Over 2,000 Congress workers from Telangana to participate in 'Bharat Bachao' rally
Hyderabad: Nearly 2,000 Congress leaders and workers from Telangana State are likely to participate in the 'Bharat Bachao' rally proposed to be held by the Congress party in protest against the economic policies of BJP Government at the Centre in New Delhi on November 30.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and Nalgonda MP Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday appealed to the Congress party workers from Telangana to participate in large numbers in 'Bharat Bachao' rally. He said that the wrong policies of the BJP Government at the Centre has shattered the country's economy with almost all sectors reporting a slowdown. In order to lodge a protest against the rising unemployment and deteriorating condition of the economy, the Congress party has decided to organise 'Bharat Bachao' rally on November 30. He said at least 10 workers from each of all 119 Assembly segments in Telangana would participate in the rally. He informed that TPCC Working Presidents Ponnam Prabhakar and Kusum Kumar and General Secretary CJ Srinivas would be the in-charge for the event from Telangana. He said advised all AICC and PCC members, TPCC Executive leaders, members of DCCs, present and former MLAs, MPs, MLCs and leaders from constituencies to participate in the programme.
