Bhadrachalam: Over 300 applications were received by the Integrated Tribal Development Agency ( ITDA) Project Officer VP Gowtham here on Monday during the Girijana Darbar programme.

A large number of tribals thronged the ITDA office for submitting their pleas to the Project Officer. While most of the tribals urged the ITDA authorities to solve the drinking water issues in their respective villagers, others have sought redressal of issues pertaining to Podu lands.

The Project Officer interacted with the people and accepted their pleas. Speaking on the occasion, he directed the officials to clear the pleas in a stipulated time besides ordering them to immediately solve the drinking water issues in the tribal hamlets and villages. All unit officers and staff attended the programme.
