Parigi: Survey on child marriages underway

Parigi: A survey on child marriages was organised by Integration of Child Production Services (ICPS) of the women and child welfare department on Tuesday. Poverty Learning Foundation, Plan India and CESS organised the survey in Tunkalagadda and Nazeerabad Thanda.

District Child Protection Officer K Rajesh Kumar, social worker Mohd Shafi, Child Line team R Ramulu and N Saidulu took part in the programme. The survey is being taken up across the state to study the health conditions of couples, consequences of child marriages etc.
